| "Whakan" is the Sioux translation for "Sacred" or "important".
The Whakan Den is the main area of the Northern Territory. Every member would usually sleep, eat, and rest here. The den's entrance may look small, but inside it is rather very large. It is also one of the most safe & secure places, since it is located in the center of all the territory of the Tribe of the North. The den was created by Skidi Indians, as a gift to the Northern Tribe for assisting them with hunting and being a trusted friend. Now, they are the only tribe from the Sioux nation that remains. They live in a private location, trying to avoid the American soldiers who would force them to relocate to a reservation camp in Oklahoma. This is why we must protect the den and keep it's history secure.

| I stepped out of the silent den, my ears perked back and my eyes set on the trees before me. The eagle feathers in my fur, with a turquoise tint, flow gently in the brisk breeze. I begin to walk forth, my sleek ivory tail swaying behind me, calmly. The small dream-catcher necklace hung limply from my neck. It was a gift from a human friend. My tender azure gaze scans the area, sensing something new, coming... | |

| Tala came to a stop just outside the territory and gave a loud woof/howl to warn the North that she was coming then she crossed over and jogged right to the scent of their Tribe Chief, River. Tala's fur puffed up at the cold weather, she was used to the temperate climate of the west but she didn't mind a cool breeze even now and then. She slowed back down into a walk, now seeing the white wolf. "Hello River" she greeted calmly. | |

| As silence broke, River whipped her head towards Tala. It had been quite a while since she has seen her. "Hau, good friend." she replied in the same calm manner. She quickly examined Tala, noticing that she looked rather, slightly cold. River then sat down, her head tilting slightly to the left. "How are your people in the West?", she asked with curiosity. She has heard rumors that there was to be a battle coming soon, so this caught her attention. On the other hand, she was actually concerned about them. With a heart like River's, she tends to care about everything. | |

| Tala smiled, "good, everything in the valley is very quiet though" she replied. "But how's your tribe?" she asked, "I haven't seen many of your people in a while" she added. Tala crouched then sat down, she glanced around at the white wonder land. | |

| She gave a short nod of pleasure, glad to hear they were fine. The valley was in fact quite silent, but when she asked the question about her people, she had a slight concern expresion. "My people have been suddenly... vanishing. I can-" she said, but then held her tongue abruptly as a distant howl caught her attention. River somewhat became stern at the howl. She had to figure out who it was. "The wind tells me it's coming from the West. Do you know who's howl that belongs to?" she asked. | |

| Tala perked her ears, "no..." she said with a huff. "I'll be back later, I better go check it out first" she with a quick nod before swiftly charging in the snow. A paw landed after another as she bolted from snow to forest, entering back into her territory.
